BIRTHDATE/PLACE: 14 june/rome
GENDER: female

"The walls are cold and pale, The cage made of steel, Screams fill the room, Alone I drop and kneel"

APPEARANCE: My hair is light brown in color and worn long, hanging down past the small of my back. I wear it up most of the time, as is appropriate for a woman of my status. I have almond shaped green eyes that are bright and inquisitive. My skin holds a light olive tone and my body is quite lithe for one who has endured the trials of childbirth. I can't afford anything less though. A princess is a public figure and in the eyes of your people, image is everything.
ATTIRE: I dress in nothing less than the finest. Silk, cotton, satin, you name it and it's probably in my wardrobe in every color immaginable. Jewels and other finery are apart of my everyday attire as well. Necklaces and rings, as well as some type of circlet or head piece that signifies my status as royalty are the main jewels I wear almost daily. Soft sandals and slippers round out my general attire.
WEAPONS: I have no need to carry a weapon
USER GROUP: royalty
ALLIANCE: assassin (secretly of course)
"Silence now the sound, My breath the only motion around, Demons cluttering around, My face showing no emotion, Shackled by my sentence"

PERSONA:
[AMBITIOUS]- Lucilla is very good at getting what she wants, stopping at nothing to achieve it. When the princess sets her mind to something, there is little anyone can do to change it, especially if her goal has anything to do with her beloved son. Assuring his safety and good fortune are her top priorities.
[CHARISMATIC]- What is a princess without charisma? Lucilla is certainly adored by the people of Rome, as well as her mother, father, and brother. She has an air about her that few can resist. Few people know how Lucilla really is, seeing only the charming mask she wears for the public.
[LOVING]- Many words describe her, but loving has to be one of the best. Lucilla is an extremely loving person. She would do anything for her son and family, placing Lucas' wellbeing above all. The princess shows nothing but affection for her young son, though she worries about him frequently. Love has been the cause of some pain for her though.
[COMPASSIONATE]- Lucilla hates it when the people of Rome, her people, suffer. Actually anyone's suffering makes her heart pang for them. She helps whenever she can, offering relief in the forms of sending food to the hungry or anything else she can think of. Lucilla believes that the leaders of this prosperous empire are only as strong as the very people they are supposed to be leading.
[IMPASSIVE]- This particular characteristic is apart of the mask she puts on when dealing with dangerous situations. Lucilla is more than happy to hide away her true emotions behind a facade of coolness, finding it easier to cry in the dark when she's alone. She used to smile often, wearing her emotions on her sleeve. As she grew older, she realized this was foolish and had to change if she was going to survive in this world of insanity.
[PATIENT]- It has always been said patience is a virtue. Lucilla holds this particular virtue close to her heart. Patience with her son, her brother, and her ambitions. She sets up her desires and watches them unfold before her. She prefers to pull the strings from behind the scenes.
[SECRETIVE]- Lucilla has secrets of her, who doesn't in this day and age? Her allegiances lie with the Assassins, which is probably her biggest secret of all. She is very good at playing her role and pretending to go along with whatever political view is popular at the time, seeing as women truly do not have a voice in politics and are expected to simply nod their head and agree. Her father values her opinion though and she is encougared to discuss her views with him.
[PROTECTIVE]- Her protective nature extends solely to her son. Lucas is the most important person in her life, end of story. He comes first and always will. Lucilla will go to any length to ensure her son's security and peace of mind. She does not want his sweet and innocent soul to be corrupted and tainted like a number of men who walk this earth.
[INTELLIGENT]- This is a dangerous thing for a women to be. Being part of the royal family, Lucilla was able to learn to read and write a little. She took a immediate interest in reading as much as she could. Using that knowledge she has developed into a rather intelligent woman. She understands more than she lets people believe and tends to hide how smart she truly is, though never coming off as ignorant or stupid. That would just be embarressing. Some appreciate the fact that Lucilla is as smart as she is, while others would surely disapprove.
"Expecting no return, Here there is no penance, My skin begins to burn, So I held my head up high, Hiding hate that burns inside"

MOTHER: Faustina. Empress of Rome
FATHER: Marcus Aurelius. Ceasar
SIBLINGS: Commodus. Prince of Rome
OTHER: Lucas Verus. Eight. Prince of Rome
HISTORY: Lucilla Annia Aurelia was born on a warm summer day in June to Ceasar Marcus Aurelius and Empress Faustina of Rome. She was their first child, and even though she was female, her parents loved her nonetheless. The happy royal family soon welcomed the next child into the mix, this one being a son. Lucilla adored her baby brother and told everyone so. The two children were close growing up and remain so, well to an extent. Lucilla learned she had to keep Commodus at arms length. The children spent their youth in the care of various governesses and even in the arms of their mother. Maximus was a frequent companion of the royal children. Lucilla had once been sure she felt more serious about her love for Maximus, but soon came to realize he would never be more than a brother.
When her father deemed her ready, Lucilla began learning to read and write. Marcus Aurelias wanted to make sure his daughter didn't walk around this world ignorant and only knowing what people told her to be true. Lucilla devoured every bit of information she could. Commodus soon joined her in these lessons.
As Lucilla came of age, many potential husbands were brought forth. For a while, she had hoped her father would choose to marry her to Maximus and just make the decision easy. Instead, he chose his Co-Emperor, Lucius Verus. Lucilla had never spoken more than two words to the man, but she did as she was told and the couple was wed on her twentieth birthday. Over time, Lucilla came to appreciate and care about Lucius, though she had decided long ago that she would never love him. The newlyweds spent little time together in their first few years of marriage. Lucius was frequently called away and sent all over the Empire to do her father's bidding. Lucilla often returned to the palace and stayed with her mother and brother. The couple welcomed their first and only child after being married for almost seven years. Lucas Verus became Lucilla's whole world. The little family lived happily together for a time. As fate would have it, Lucius died when Lucas was only three, leaving Lucilla as a young widow and Lucas without a father. After his death, Lucilla and Lucas returned to living at the palace with her family full time.
